WEEK 5: For intermediate salsa dancers, the focus shifts to refining technique and adding complexity to your movements. At this level, you'll work on enhancing your connection with your partner, improving your lead-follow communication, and integrating smoother turns and spins. You’ll also explore more advanced footwork, including intricate shines and syncopated rhythms, which allow you to express yourself with greater flair and style. Intermediate salsa also involves learning new patterns and combinations, expanding your repertoire while maintaining musicality and timing. As you continue to grow, you'll experiment with adding personal style, building confidence, and adapting to a wide range of salsa music, from classic to contemporary.
