Meet Your Door Team
Evvie Vincow
(she/they)
Evvie found vintage jazz dance and the Century Ballroom on the same summer night in 2005 and was instantly smitten with both. Eighteen years later, they joined the Century staff. In between, they slowly and laboriously learned to dance. Evvie wants everyone possible to experience the kind of ridiculous, inexplicable joy they get from Lindy Hop and solo jazz. More generally, they want to help adults - especially other late starters and slow learners - reclaim movement and find a way into dance.
Francesca Gigi
(she/her)
After moving to Seattle from Italy in 2016, Francesca found a home away from home at Century Ballroom, where she first fell in love with Lindy Hop. The vibrant dance community welcomed her with open arms, giving her a sense of belonging and connection through movement and music.
In 2023, she became an official part of the Century Ballroom family, working at the door in the Bachata room. Now, she continues to immerse herself in the world of dance, enjoying the energy, friendships, and joy that social dancing brings.
Elvin sy
(he/him)
Since 2019, Elvin has been working the door at the ballroom, enjoying it as a fun way to stay connected to the dance community. Salsa was his first dance and remains a favorite, but he also loves exploring other styles like Bachata, Swing, Waltz, and Kizomba. For him, one of the best parts of dancing is meeting new people and sharing the joy of social dance. Outside the ballroom, he enjoys the occasional pickup basketball game, spending time with family and friends, and indulging in their favorite boba tea.
Selena Tucker Edwards
(she/her)
Selina Tucker Edwards is a Seattle-based artist trained in dance, modeling, and visual arts. She studied at Cornish College of the Arts, Velocity Dance Center, and The Pacific Northwest Ballet School.
An active member of the burlesque community, she graduated from Miss Indigo Blue’s Academy of Burlesque and performs as Masquelyn Monroe. Through her art, she strives to delight, empower, and inspire audiences everywhere.

In 1998, she married her partner, Pat, and relocated to Tacoma. In 2010, on a whim, Margaret started working at Century Ballroom and quickly discovered a love for it.
